"Breathtaking views at every stop. Each more beautiful than the last. Pictures just don't do them justice. If you haven't experienced this for yourself, you should at least once. There are no bathrooms or cell phone service most of the way."
"Simple words could never fully or accurately descibe this place that mother nature has provided for us humans to enjoys. So I will not even attempt to do that in this reveiw. What I would like to tell anyone that were to read this is that I have been very blessed during my life time to see some truly amazing sites all around our great many countries in our great world. The veiws and sites along this Skyway ALWAYS PUTS ME IN A STATE OF AWL AND JUST SIMPLY TRULY AMAZES ME THE AMOUNT OF NATURES PURE BEAUTY THAT IS ON DISPLAY HERE FOR FREE. All a person has to do is to take the time to " slow down" and enjoy this scenic drive at least once in your life. This is a MUST SEE IF YOU ASK ME. I DID NOT REALIZE JUST HOW GREAT THIS WAS IN MY YOUNGER LIFE ESPECIALLY WHEN I RODE MOTORCYCLES ALOT, I WOULD RIDE THIS SKYWAY FOR TOTAL ADVENTURE ON THE CURVES WHICH ARE GREAT FOR RIDERS BUT BACK THEN I NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT THE VIEWS. During my last couple trips across it I was escaping the traffic jams on I 40 East bound traveling back home and I only meet one car on one trip and two vehicles on my last trip during the entire 50 plus miles of that beautiful drive. Man how I wished for that when I was a much younger and far less wisher rider on my motorcycle many years ago. Funny how our lord above teaches a person to " slow down" in his " not so young age" isn't it. Thankfully he watched over me during those " not so slow trips " across the Cherohala then so I can really truly enjoy it now for what it is. " THE EIGHT WONDER OF THE WORLD" IN MY OPTION. YOU JUST " GOT TO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF TO BELIEVE IT. Best Regards Don Blaylock Dayton Tn area"
"Great views! Take the ride!"
"This was the MOST disappointing drive on our trip. The Skyway about 40 miles long is so overgrown Beside the roads and brush and trees overgrown that you can't see the mountains and valleys from the highway. Only 2 of the overlooks had an astoundingly wonderful view which I will post a picture of. This trip is NOT worth your time unless you are on a motorcycle, then the curvey roads with no view would be fun."
