"All I wanted was a 8/16 deck and I wanted all of the 4/4 posts left long so I could add a roof later and they did that for me last time this time it was another 400.00 I will not change it until you agree that there’s no way it would cost another 400 dollars for a few feet more of 4x4s all the 4x4s you need on the deck are even not 400 dollars they are about 17.00 each if you would like I will buy the 4x4 and take off 400 off the price of the deck"

"I waited to give my review. I got the deck at the end of April 2021. I stained the deck like I was told 2 weeks after putting the deck together. The wood is cracking on the top and bottom. They were supposed to get someone out here to look at it 4 weeks later no one came. I'm not happy"

"My wife and I were in need of replacing our front porch and steps and ran across an ad for East Coast Decks at a local hardware store here, near Columbia SC. We called and got all the answers we were looking for and the price quoted for the work was fantastic. The appointment was set for almost a month after the call, but right before the work was to be done, I was informed that due to a lumber shortage, the work was extended out another 3 weeks. The worker ( Joe ) came by this morning right on time, and completed the work in about 5 hours. The Deck and Steps were VERY WELL DONE, and Joe was very courteous and helpful while he did the work. Very pleased with the job and the new addition. My only negative comment about the whole process is that someone there should have called to inform me that the shortage of materials caused a delay of a few weeks, instead of me checking and being told when I called a few days before they were scheduled to show up, But all things considered the work and time more than made up for the delay. Pam was very nice in taking the order up front and keeping us informed on the schedule once everything was set to go. Would definitely advise anyone looking to have steps, a porch or a deck built by professionals who know how to do good work, to give East Coast Decks a call. Price and Quality was a level above Good. ...Thanks to all of you there for the excellent job !!"
