"Do not recommend this doctor! He refuses to do PSAs for anyone! A PSA is when your insurance won't cover it without the doctor or his nurse doing a simple 10 minute questionnaire on why the patient needs it. I needed lifesaving medication and he walked in the room and said that my insurance would not pay for it but he had not attempted to even call them! Even my local pharmacist said this doctor refuses to do these and help people who really need it. He gave me a generic medication that gave me gravely ill side effects. They also want that insurance card! You can forget making 3 months visits they want you there a lot so that they can collect money from your insurance. They care more about making money than your life. I have since switched to a much better practice and received my blood thinner the same day. And his nurse at the front desk lied to me so many times, saying it was the pharmacies job to do the PSA etc etc when she found out that I was more educated than that and knew that she was lying she was very rude! Once again my personal opinion and because of my experience I do not recommend you going to him for any bad health issues. He also had a habit of forgetting to call in my cholesterol meds and when I would call the office and tell him he forgot to call those in they would instruct me I needed to come back into the office and see him again just so they could collect off my insurance! So if you need a PSA or a doctor to contact your insurance so they'll pay for your medicine he is not the one to go to and if you need life-saving care and meds I do not recommend putting your life in this man's hands!"
"Called the office on Monday morning to ask if Dr. Parikh would take on a new patient and when would he be able to see me for an unexpected issue. Staff worked with me in a very professional manner verifying all my information and had me in by mid morning. I found Dr. Parikh to be very friendly and calming. He did a complete work up on me, made a diagnosis, wrote necessary prescriptions to get my health back on track and wanted to see me back a week later to verify medication was working. Happy to have found a professional close to my home and would recommend him to anyone."
"Let me start by saying I'm a new customer. Prior to scheduling an appointment, I was concerned by some of the low reviews, however, I became very sick and needed care asap. I arrived to my appointment first thing in the morning and was pleased to see a very well kept, clean and organized office. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. My next concern is that I'm hard of hearing, and given the fact the doctor is Indian, was very concerned with being able to understand him or communicate my challenges where he would understand me. As I sat in the examination room, and heard the doctor at the door, I readied myself for what could potentially be a frustrating experience. As he walked through the door, he had a warm smile and greeted me with an enthusiastic good morning, Kevin! He immediately put my mind at ease because he speaks English just fine, and proceeded to listen to what symptoms I was having. From there, he offered me several options, with the understanding that I was dealing with limited finances, and an insurance plan that had an insane deductible before it would even kick in. Dr. Parikh helped me by offering to utilize a feature with my insurance I was unaware of that would allow an initial wellness test that falls under their annual allotment provided to each patient. So he was able to give me a thorough exam which I haven't had in awhile, checking my blood/urine for any signs of potential illnesses I may be unaware of, including a colon cancer test, which was overdue. Here's the kicker, so the next day, the doctor calls me to ask about a lower than average sodium level, nothing urgent, just wanted to be sure it wasn't a potential indicator of something more serious, in reality, I drink a lot of water first thing in the morning and no doubt my sodium level was affected by that. I've never had a doctor show that level of concern, he's smart, he's sincere, and genuinely wants to help you be well, which is everything you want in a doctor, which in my opinion, is a 5 star experience."
"He never listens to anything. Always takes less than 20 minutes to be seen and everything. He's only about getting your money!! He's always telling me I'm wrong, when the things he does never works and I have to keep coming back!!! Now he says I need a specialist!! For one, I told you that the second time you misdiagnosed me!!!! Very frustrated and his nurses are stuck up rude snobs along with the rest of his office. Also there's always new nurses because he can't hire anyone with sense. One nurse after giving me a shot, stabbed the syringe into the bed!! What the heck!? They should be shut down!! I had to give one star or I couldn't comment. He deserves ZERO."
