"I was a resident here for rehabilitation therapy after an accident. The facility, staff, and technicians were first class. I could not have had better medical care or physical therapy. I am still taking outpatient therapy for another four weeks and look forward to every session. I highly recommend this facility."

"My dear grandmother was sent here to rehabilitate from back pain. Whenever we visited she told us that she would hit the button for help and hours would go by before anyone would stop by. Two weeks later she passed away here. They called to tell us that she was in pain, and when we arrived all of the nurses and staff scattered. After hunting someone down and forcing them to talk they told us she was sent to the hospital. We are certain they sent her under mysterious circumstances. Avoid. I beg you to avoid. If you love them you will send them somewhere else. We wish we did, but it is too late for us."

"What a wonderful experience my mother had at Life Care Center of Blount County!! All starting with the admissions director Karla! She showed so much kindness and efficiency in getting mom placed into their facility, even going down to mom’s room when she was admitted and helping her to get her room arranged. The admissions assistant Jane was also so very kind and helpful. When mom had to go for an outpatient surgical procedure, both Karla and Jane personally helped me load some of her belongings into my car…..talk about going the extra mile!! Mom fell in love with all the staff….from the nurses, to the physical/occupational therapists, housekeeping, dietary….all were exceptional in going above and beyond to meet mom’s needs. Today was mom’s discharge date to return back to her home. The staff lined up down the hallway to say their goodbyes and wish her well. I was so impressed by this individual attention they showed her. Four of the staff members even came out to my car with mom to give her a hug and help her get into the car, including the admissions director Karla who once again helped me get her belongings into my car. Life Care of Blount truly made my mom’s experience at a skilled nursing facility a pleasurable one. I highly recommend this facility and their wonderful staff!! Thank you for taking excellent care of my mom!!"
