There, he was mentored by world-renowned endodontists and gained extensive experience in handling complex cases, advanced surgical techniques, trauma, and sedation in a hospital setting. His groundbreaking research on bone healing following endodontic microsurgery earned him the esteemed Dr. Shizuko Yamauchi Endodontics Graduate Student Award and was published in the Journal of Endodontics.
