"Amazing scenery, trails are great for 4 wheelers and off-road atvs. Beautiful all around."
"A beautiful place to visit with no traffic or crowds and miles of trails to ride and enjoy the view !!!"
"Not been in 30 years. I love to go up and just ride through look at all the deer when hunting is nodding season. Got part of Mama's Family lived up there next to the gate on Brantley Loop"
"Beautiful get away! This wildlife refuge is less traveled than nearby Big Ridge and thusly more private. We got some swimming in and explored before the season started to cool. Theres more than one can explore in a single day here!"
"Free camping in 2 different campgrounds at the entrance to the park area. There are several cemeteries in the area, but due to bad weather I only saw 2. The campground behind the ranger's house has a better view, but both are very nice. This is a primitive camp site so be prepared with water, and be prepared for no bathroom facilities. This is a popular place for hunters, so please check the website for hunting date schedules and be safe. Only the main roads are small car accessible, so I didn't explore too much. Cool fire tower you can climb at your own risk."
