"Brought wife to this paved part of this trail That has disabled parking spots for a test run with her new electric wheelchair. Very nice trail with lots of places to stop and sit by the river"
"The county has made several updates in the last few years, including a new set of restrooms on the playground side. My kids love the playground itself, and the equipment is in good condition, but the gravel inside the fenced area needs replacing. Picnic shelter could also use some updates."
"Did a bicycle event out of this park over a weekend. The park has a lot to offer with swimming, a fitness center, and pickleball and tennis courts. Adjacent to the River Walk. Lots of ball fields on the other side of the road, which I assume are part of the park as well."
"The park is beautiful. Still room for improvement. There is not a light on the American Flag. Which by federal statute old glory shall not be left in the dark. It should be taken down at dusk with respect. They may do that,I'm not sure. But all Americans here should pursue this subject. It you love our Flag and everything it stands for, then speak up. A chain should be put across at night. Also all field lights should be in the off position if no one is playing. Maybe a timer? No chain, yes problems!"
"This is a huge park for a small town. four baseball softball fields, batting cages, bathroom a river walk along side a river. Lots of open spaces and benches."
