A proud Powell native, Dr. Lakin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice, having graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with degrees in microbiology and psychology. He earned his medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Lakin joined Emory Family Practice in 2021.
