Reviews
"I've been coming here since I was 6 yrs old, I'm now 70, and I love this place as much now as I did back then. As a kid, we waded in the creek, caught crawdads, and enjoyed going inside the mill to watch corn being ground. Their cornmeal was the best. It still is a place that you must stop to see if you are in the area. You can go into the lower part of the mill to watch the machinery that moves the wheel and grinds the corn. Upstairs is a gift shop, but the most fun is seeing the Mill and enjoying the coolness of the woods surrounding it."
"Really enjoyable stop. Excellent history and nice park to rest at"
"The grist mill had a compact gift shop, but unfortunately we arrived during the staff's lunch break and were unable to see it in operation."
"This is a great place to visit. We had a wonderful time"
"Very very very very very cool old mill. Easy access off the road. No hiking required. Great place for pictures lots of picnic benches for a lunch there is a nice creek and tunnel there as well as the old threshing barn. A very worthy stop or destination. Only about 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville. And it's FREE"
