Reviews
"The inside was just as bad an the outside. Duct tape on the pump screen, inside smelled but not as much as the clerk. Top 5 most rundown gas stations I’ve ever unfortunately had to go to. What a dump."
"The bathrooms was so dirty no paper towels. It was awful I couldn't let me daughter use it. It was that bad. It looked like pee all over sink."
"Wasn't the cleanest place I've ever been. It's a gas station, easy to get in and out of. Had what I needed."
"Sonoco doesn't inforce the mandatory mask policy... I was some what disappointed in the lack there of"
"Came here when the fog was deep and visibility was low. Pulled off, and at the time had Michigan plates, and followed by a police car after entry, as I made a right, had to turn around and then park at the station. Upon exiting my vehicle, two individuals, one in full 'duck dynasty' regalia, the other reminding me of a certain film with Georgia background and Ned Beatty, Burt Reynolds, et al. were at the door. Later, of course, the same police car stops off and now he joins them as I go inside... Attendant/Cashier was EXACTLY like Missy Crider's, Becky Meiks character, in the film, 'Frailty' in looks and demeanor. I left the station kind of shaking a little, and every 10 minutes or so after I left would just shake a bit like there was something corroding my soul and having to get it out. As though I escaped a Stephen King short story and the reader goes, "he don't know how luck he is, do he?" Read more about Jelicho upon returning, and spoke with some others happened to go by it with similar experiences. I'll absolutely never go there again. However, 5 stars because it's a forever conversation piece. They need to make a film or at the least an episode of something similar to X-Files there...they won't have to change anything with setting. As long as the townsfolk are the same as I encountered the casting agent's job would be easy."
