"My Roommate and I purchased a vehicle in another county and the dealership in which we purchased the vehicle said we had to plate it in that county for the first year and then plate it the county in which we live the following year! But not even a month went by and My Roommate received a threatening letter from the office of Campbell County office of tax identification and enforcement Pamela Wright, stating that we have to plate the vehicle in Campbell county, basically paying the wheel tax here! And I quote please be advised that all Campbell county residence are required to purchase a Campbell county will tax decal, regardless of the county in which they have registered their vehicle! You are granted a 45 day grace period from the date of this notice in which to comply with the law or author proof that you are no longer a Campbell County resident before further enforcement action will be taken! They are threatening her with the law when she’s not guilty of anything is this not illegal because we are civilians if we was to do something like this, we would be going to jail for it! We will be looking into legal action against Pamela Wright, and the office of Campbell County office of tax identification & enforcement! Because I will not tolerate being threatened, nor will my roommate! We are already at the point of regretting ever moving the Campbell County because you have to be rich to live here! And we realize that most people in office around here are stuck up In all my 46 years of living here in Tennessee I’ve never seen anything like this. This whole town is money hungry!"
