Established in 2008, Nottely River Valley Vineyards spans 10 acres of our historic 93-acre family farm, which has been cherished by our family since 1820. Our vineyard boasts meticulously cultivated high-density plantings of premium grape varieties, including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Primitivo, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and the exquisite French Hybrids – Chambourcin, Chardonel, and Seyval Blanc.
Our commitment to quality is evident in our viticulture practices, which include leaf pruning, cluster thinning, and limited fruit production. These techniques ensure that we produce only the finest fruit, essential for crafting our exceptional wines. Our winery features a unique below-ground gravity flow design and benefits from geo-thermal cooling to maintain the perfect cellar conditions.
At Nottely River Valley Vineyards, we are dedicated to producing wines with minimal intervention, inspired by the "Old World Style, Hand-Crafted" wines of Europe. Our journey began with our first harvest in the fall of 2011, and we proudly released our inaugural vintage on November 1, 2012.

"We went to the winery today and hit the jackpot! When we arrived they had just wrapped up harvesting and was preparing to de-stem and crush the grapes. Steve, the owner and vintner, invited us to come out back and watch the process. It was so much fun and all the volunteers he had, from the neighborhood,treated us like dear old friends.
