Reviews
"Trail is nice. Several trees down blocking path. Humid and a little buggy. Bring bug spray and water. A walking stick is recommended."
"Hiked CT northbound last Sunday. It was a nice spring day. Many hikers on the trail, especially to waterfalls and devil's racetrack. Also met several canine friends. After terrific peak view on surroundings, I75, cove lake state park, clinch river valley and faraway Smokey mountains, i continued hiking to eagle bluff. It is a smooth updown. A big surprise is seeing a construction site right on CT after powerline before eagle bluff. The trail was completedly wiped off. What happened? Anyone know? It is a sad sight to see. Long live CT!"
"I did Devil’s Race Track here. The view from the top was astounding. Trail consists of several ups and downs repeatedly until you reach the trek to the peak. There are also 3 waterfalls along the way. You can hear a little noise from the freeway which seems odd as you hike through the wooded landscape."
"Very zig zagging up and down mountain trail. Went in the fall so got to tons a great colors with the leaves. Went more than half way to Little Egypt. Lost way with trees down on trails."
"Great hike close to home it is steep can seem un-managed in places if coming in from Cove lake entrance. Saw young Timber Rattler on last visit."
