"Fun clean place. Didn't see or hear any animals. Only the Coy pond and a few geese that want you to feed them."
"We took our dogs on the walking / hiking “Yellow Trail. Very unique experience as you can hear the Chimpanzees as you hike, but you will not see them. The trail was moderate difficulty and well maintained. There are some steep inclines and obstacles. The Yellow goes up and around the saddle of the mountain. The “White Trail” is shorter and more difficult as it goes straight up and then straight down. The easiest would be the “Green Trail” which is a walking nature trail. Exceptional faculty, well cared for, wonderful volunteers and staff."
"I am a repeat vendor at Project Chimps Discovery Days. The management is very easy to work with and the volunteers and donors have been super supportive of my small business. An added bonus during my last visit was participating in the vendor tour after the event was over. A volunteer took us around to see the facility and talked about the care of the chimps and the vision that the sanctuary has to continue making improvements to meet the needs of all the former research chimps they are rescuing. I felt very impressed. Each time I go there are noticeable expansions and improvements. You can really tell it is run by people who are very passionate and knowledgeable about chimp welfare."
"Enjoyed a visit to Project Chimps last year. It was great to see them enjoying the outdoors in the peach tree habitat. As a sponsor of one of the chimps I received a stuffed chimp and she goes with me wherever I go on my motorcycle. Keep up the good work!"
"What a gorgeous facility with a beautiful mission! Had the pleasure of a tour a little while back and saw these wonderful chimps getting to be outside and social like they always should have been. They have a long way to go but you can tell they are finally happy. My kids really enjoyed being able to witness the chimps' behavior as well. Definitely an organization worthy of support."
