"We did our wedding here and the Robert, the owner, was super accommodating. Something fresh about this place is that you have free reign of the whole property and you even get use of the farm house for the days you rent the venue. This was so helpful for the wedding party to come beforehand and set up everything the day before and for people to sleep the night of the wedding instead of having to clean up and get out of there right away. The kids loved being able to run around and explore the creek and the woods and play in the barn. Such a fun experience and you get to enjoy the place alone but Robert stops and checks on you to make sure all is well and is always a phone call away. It was a perfect day and stay! The only recommendations to the owner are minor: the pilot lights in the house kept going out for the gas heaters... This is only a problem during the cold months. The second issue was that the back screen door wasn't really secure and the house doors didn't lock well. One of the bedrooms is right inside the back screen door. It's in the country, so it's safe, and nobody is going to come mess around a house with vehicles at it. Thirdly, no doors to keep master bedroom private. Barn, beautiful, and nice with plenty of outlets and extra supplies. House, very warm and accommodating and fully furnished, including television. It's nice to wake up the next day and cleanup after the wedding. The property, very well manicured and beautiful! Our overall experience was absolutely wonderful and we have zero regrets about using Payne Meadows! It was such a blessing from start to finish and everything went so perfect and smoothly!"

Firstly, the steep descent to the venue could pose a challenge for older guests or those with mobility issues. It's something to keep in mind when planning transportation arrangements. Additionally, while the rustic barn floor added to the venue's charm, it did have significant gaps that required extreme caution to navigate. Guests needed to be mindful to ensure that their chairs remained stable and didn't tip over. Overall, Payne Meadows offers a beautiful setting for a rustic wedding or event, but it's worth taking these considerations into account to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests."

"Choose this venue if you want your special day to be exactly that! My new husband and I were so happy with our choice. The grounds were truly pristine, and as our happy day included unexpected weather (rain fell right up to "I do"), the barn setting saved the day! And for a girl who swore to, "never get married in a BARN," I would do it a hundred times over! "This venue is amazing! It is a beautiful area. We traveled 6 hours to have my daughter’s wedding here. Robert, the Venue owner is the nicest person you will ever meet. He will ensure that everything is perfect. I can’t say enough great things about the property, the views, and the overall customer service. The venue has a country farm house onsite for the bridal party to get ready. We arrived to find fresh flowers on the kitchen counter. The owner responds quickly if you have questions or need anything. If you are not local, he will assist and give recommendations of whatever is needed. The day of the wedding he was there and assisted with our guests. He goes above and beyond! We had our reception in the barn and had it set up with a table setting for each person. It was beautiful. We were able to get there the day before to decorate the venue exactly the way we wanted. I highly recommend this venue."
