"Stayed here for Labor Day weekend. It was overall nice! Beautiful beach, large sites (a bunch of variety-ours were nice and grassy), friendly staff, paved roads. The pool area was pretty nice and was attached to a club house and game room. In general, it seemed to be a well taken care of park. The biggest negative is that the seasonal campers definitely rule here. Not that we had any overtly bad or rude interactions, but golf carts were everywhere and did not follow one way road signs or the speed limit in the park (we saw one group on a golf cart almost hit a child and several others going so fast around turns that their wheels left the ground), and the seasonal camper next to us had taken our access to the gray water hookup. Luckily, we were camping with family and were able to access theirs after we went out and bought another hose to reach it. Other than these things, we enjoyed the park and its proximity to several beach towns. It was a good weekend!"
"I was invited to woodland shores by friends and we were able to stay in one of their lovely small cabins. This place has such a friendly community and is a beautiful space. Small trips on the golf cart to go to the beach or visit my friends lot. Might have to make it an annual visit!"
"Excellent resort we loved this place and the beach is awesome. The owner took us on a great tour and helped us fit into a great camp spot. Definitely stay here"
"Family oriented and beautiful! Great sized sites. Wonderful staff! Clean pool, adult only hot tub, free shuffleboard area, and spotless clean private restrooms & showers! Slight problem in my book of golf carts & motorized scooters going over the speed limit enforced for vehicles."
"Cute little campground, loved how you feel like your in the middle of the woods, also having a private beach on lake michigan. Unfortunately you need a golf cart to get everywhere, wifi was horrible near the office, you have to go to the beach or clubhouse. We needed it for ideas of places to visit and GPS where things were (never been to silverlake). Kinda upset there weren't sewars on lot for black water, only gray water (our tank is combined and fills quick, so it made it rough being away from bathrooms and having one that couldn't be used in fear of backup, which happened and had to pay $30 to have it pumped) they do have a free dump station on the way out. There are alot of activities planned which gets people together! Hot tub was down when we were there, pool was up and looked nice. There is a small arcade that looked pretty awesome. Cranberry lake was cool too."
