"I have been going to 1st Church of God for 25 years or more. We are one church with 3 campuses. One in St. Joseph, one in Stevenville and one in Benton Heights, all in Michigan. I attended many churches before I found the church family that I call mine now. Throughout my years there and attending many Bible studies, I continue to grow closer to my Lord and Savior, Jesus. We have grown so much in past years and continue to do so. We have wonderful staff, awesome teachers, every one. We believe in the unity of God's people for His purpose and for His kingdom. We have a Celebrate Recovery program at Benton Heights on Thursday nights beginning at 6:00 with a fellowship period lasting roughly 30 minutes, then move into a period of praise and worship at 6:30. We alternate between a teaching one week and a testimony( sometimes in video sometimes in person) the next. We have a time of celebration with a chip ceremony that highlights prolonged victory, then have separate small groups, men with men and women with women, opening and closing in prayer. The Stevensville campus has a N.A. meeting a couple of times a week, I'm not sure of the days or times, but you can find out on our website, myfirstchurch.com. Recovery is possible with God."
