"My wife and I bought our cedar sided house in 2015 and since then I slowly watched the paint on the house fade, crack, and peel due to the horrendous paint job the previous yokel performed. I thought about tackling the project myself, but after extensive research I knew it would be too much for me to do. For the job to be done properly, cedar siding paint must be applied by brush. After looking around and researching some paint companies, I came across French Painting and read their methods for application. Sure enough, they paint everything by hand with a 2.5” brush with premium paint. Michael was very professional and prompt with communicating with me about estimates, time lines, prep work, and any possible obstacles they might encounter. His crew were all very friendly and professional. They did a great job keeping their work contained and left every day without a mess. The work took them about 2 weeks to perform not only due to the extensive nature of the prep work and the painting itself, but also weather conditions. Their meticulous attention to detail was unsurpassed and the final product is a reflection of that treatment. My house was originally 1 solid color and Michael and his crew updated the look with painting the eaves, fascia, soffits and trim a separate color. And it was all done by hand. Since then, I’ve had family and friends over and comment on how good the house looks without me telling them I had it painted. Seriously, these guys are top notch. Michael was a pleasure to talk to about unrelated topics, and I could tell that his talents extend beyond painting. With that said, he is still a master of his craft and I can’t recommend him and his crew enough. 5 stars. In 5-10 years when the house needs another coat, I’ll be hunting him down. And if he so happens to be living in a sailboat in the Caribbean then I would gladly hire his crew. A big thank you to French Painting for the outstanding job."
