"A wonderful park that was created and taken care of with much love. Located on a long strip of property donated to the public trust by Fred Upton's brother, which was once part of Upton's larger estate where they kept horses, is now available for the public to enjoy. This park has it all, and it's all first-class. There is plenty of parking and most of it is shaded by old trees. There is a 3/8 mile winding mulch path through groves of trees and flower beds and open grass fields with dog litter bag stations along the way for responsible pet owners' convenience. There are tennis courts and a basketball half-court. A large playground equipment area for the kids is on-site adjacent to the parking lot and Porta-john. There is a well-manicured, smooth, and level soccer field. The park is dotted with massive old trees that give shade and comfort to weary wanderers. Many more surprises and interests await those with curiosity and mobility. Shoreham Downs Park is as good as they get. Six stars I would give if able."
"I was impressed with this park. There are a couple of tennis courts and a paved walking path, a covered picnic area, a playground for the little ones, as well as plenty of lawn for kids or dogs to run around in. It has beautiful mature, I think, locust(?)trees. Although Red Arrow Highway is just around the corner, I didn't notice any road noise at all. Just quiet and peaceful. A very pleasant experience."
"I love this park especially for little kids, it only has one entrance so you don't have to worry about your child leaving with out you noticing. The train comes by every so often and the kids of all ages love to run to the end of the park to see it."
"Lovely little park in the heart of a neighborhood. Fenced entirely, it is quite easy to keep track of children, yet is large enough and has plenty of lawn and trees beside the play structures that everyone has room to roam and play independently."
"Nice park between Stevensville and St. Joe. There's a playground for toddlers and older kids. My toddler enjoyed it."
