"What a terrible experience. It's very clear they don't like out of town customers. We walked in, and the restaurant was half empty. They asked if we had a reservation, and I said no. When I asked if we needed one. The hostess replied yes. The waitress overheard her and said she would take us in her section. When I asked if we could sit outside because my daughter suffers from hearing loss, they said no. Mind you, the sound is echoing in there. So it was harder for her to hear.(They need to add sound absorbers.) We were there for over an hour and a half, and not one more customer came in. When our food came out, I was very disappointed. I ordered a medium rare steak and got a very rare cold steak. It was served on top of my mashed potatoes and green beans, so the juice was running all over the other foods. It was served in a very nice half looking bowl, so it was very hard to cut the steak. Our server was great. Unfortunately, that was the only good part of the evening."

"Food and atmosphere were very good.... so good that after we ate breakfast here and we came back for dinner on our way back home. Only thing I would comment on is that because their food is so good, they were super busy during dinner and understaffed so our dinner took longer than expected. Also, if you want outdoor seating on a Saturday night, reservations are definitely recommended."

"Good food. Fresh and local. Service was very good and the atmosphere outside was very nice on a warm, clear July evening along side one of the holes of the Benona Shores Golf Course. Call ahead just in case of a wait on weekends. Reservations are only taken for indoor seating."

"Food was delicious, service was great. Portions and selection were good. Pricing was very reasonable. Chef came to table to check on food which is greatly appreciated. Patio was nicely shaded. It is convenient to Benona Shores Golf Course and they were able to adjust our reservation as our golf was running long. Would highly recommend. Only complaint (and this has happened recently at another restaurant as well). I feel it is extremely inappropriate that a server announce the total of the bill out loud at table and unprofessional that a receipt not be printed for the guests review before paying. I’m thinking this is something to be addressed by management."

"We stopped by on Memorial Day because it was cold and rainy so we couldn't cook over the fire as expected. We had such an incredible experience! This place is an upscale restaurant that overlooks the golf course and has some delicious & unique options!! We chose the pork sandwich with a side of mac & cheese as well as the grilled cheese sandwich with fries! Our friends had the cheese fry appetizer, pretzel bites and crab cakes and all were a hit!! Great selection of cocktails and drinks! They also had a small "gift shop" area with cute sweatshirts and organic wines!! The staff was so welcoming, I would highly recommend checking this place out!!"
