Welcome to Door Village United Methodist Church, a welcoming place of worship located at 3502 West Joliet Road, La Porte, Indiana 46350. At our church, we embrace the teachings of giving cheerfully, as expressed in the scripture: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

We invite you to reach out to us with your prayer requests either by calling our church office or emailing us. Our office is open from 7 am to 12 noon CT, Monday through Thursday, and we have an answering machine for your convenience. We hope your interaction with us inspires you to delve deeper into God's word and enriches your prayer life.

Our church is excited to offer the DVUMC Kids' Club, a free after-school program for children from Kindergarten through 4th Grade. Join us on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:15 pm for playground time, snacks, games, and a Christian lesson. The program runs from October through mid-March, aligning with the La Porte school schedule.

For those unable to attend our services in person, we provide recordings of our recent services. New recordings are available each Monday and Thursday, and you can explore past services by clicking the PAST BROADCASTS tab. While some mobile users may experience accessibility issues, our services can also be viewed on a PC, Mac, or tablet.
