Welcome to Grace Learning Center, the heart of educational and personal development opportunities in Michigan City and LaPorte County, Indiana. Located at 1007 West 8th Street, our center is dedicated to empowering individuals and families by providing essential educational resources and life skills training.

At Grace Learning Center, we understand the challenges faced by those striving to overcome barriers such as poverty, criminal thinking, substance abuse, and homelessness. Recognizing the need for comprehensive support, we offer approximately 20 classes, workshops, and support groups, including 12-step programs, each month. Our aim is to equip participants with the tools and confidence they need to break free from recurring life challenges and achieve sustainable self-sufficiency.

Our programs are made possible through collaborations with esteemed community partners such as Goodwill Workforce Solutions, Purdue Extension, A.K. Smith Career Center, Keys to Hope, Healthy Communities, and HealthLinc. As a designated WorkOne access point and SCSEP partner, we also provide on-site job opportunities for individuals seeking to re-enter the workforce through second chance training programs.

All our programs are free and open to the public, ensuring that education and self-improvement are accessible to everyone. While children are welcome at our center, those under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian to ensure their safety and well-being.
