"Use to be one of the cleanest places on the turnpike. Now it’s always a mess. Half the toilet seats are broken and you must pray they have toilet paper. I’m not sure what changes but this place is just nasty now."
"What a pleasant experience. The plaza was extremely clean and bright. Upon entering the women's restroom I was greeted by a custodial woman meticulously cleaning the sinks while softly singing. It was so nice to see someone doing their best at a job and actually enjoying doing it. Then, the cashier at 7 eleven went out of her way to be helpful and friendly; talking to us about our journey and wishing us a safe drive. Great job Wilbur Shaw Travel Plaza! Thank you for making us feel so welcome in Indiana."
"In 1984 it was sunny going westbound when I hit a white wall of snow...70ty down to 20 ty in seconds...bumper to bumper lake effect snow....pulled into service area and went to sleeper till morning..next morning in lot was like 2 ft of snow...got back on toll way n 10 miles down road like a line was drawn..not a speck of snow at all...Breakfast was good there.."
