"This place killed my brother and treated him like he was a nobody. Every time he would ask for something they always had a problem. They neglect lead to his death. I would show you all the pictures but they are horrific. They barely clean or change him. This place should be shut down. Also kept trying to force him to sign a dnr he didn’t want to. I’ve always heard older people screaming help in the back ground of our calls. Doctor filled out the paper work for him a motorize wheelchair social shut that down. My family was up there for a meeting with the head nurse and social worker. They asked how was his wounds and they responded it’s ok. Couple days later he was rushed to the hospital barely had blood in his body and couldn’t breathe. He was no where near okay. He died"
"Nursing home as good as it could be. Clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and hardworking. Residents are well taken care of. And therapy department is simply the best."
"If I had the option to leave 0 stars I would. We recently had a terrible experience there. My stepdad came in for rehab in a lot of pain and one of the nurses refused to give him his medication as prescribed by doctor. He was crying in pain and she told him to shut up! And that he was a baby. He had to end up calling 911 on his own because she wouldn’t in which he was sent to the hospital for emergency surgery for compartment syndrome! We are so lucky he was well enough to call 911 on his own. Do not send your loved ones here, they will be treat with neglect."
"My great grandmother was placed under their care on 12/12/23 after 6pm , she was transferred from the hospital to this facility. I came in on 12/13/23 early afternoon to find that she was sitting in a puddle of her own urine, no pants & no depend on! I soon found out that she had refused to let the male “aid” change her, but instead of him finding a female aid or nurse, he left her like that.!! I had talked with Kelley & she’s absolutely wonderful! She was very apologetic about the whole situation & reassured me that wouldn’t happen again. Before I left I asked that my grandmother be given another pillow & Kelley said that was no problem at all. A few mins before I left, I mentioned the pillow again, in front of Kelley & the unit coordinator, and the unit coordinator snapped and said “we provide one pillow”… “do you have some at home to bring in”. My wife told her we sure do. The unit coordinator was very unprofessional & that comment was unnecessary!! I decided that night I was discharging her the next day. That nursing home wasn’t for my grandmother. I just want to say that Kelley, was so helpful and absolutely amazing thru out the whole process. One bad experience, definitely made me realize that i couldn’t risk my grandmothers well being, and decided it was just best to remove her!! All I can say is, “If you don’t like your job, & do not have the heart, compassion and respect for these people placed in this type of care, change your field of work!!!”"
"From the moment I was wheeled into this place it’s been horrible. Frost the lady at the front desk stated that I was not expected and that she did not have any new patients. After I quick call to someone she was advised that they were expecting me. At 8:04pm I hit what would be the button for assistance. The guys that brought would could be described as prison food shut off the call and stated that the nurse was making med rounds. Nurse comes in and does not speak to me but rather the person in the room with me about my medical condition. Finally at 9:43pm I while In extreme pain I walked down the hall to see if I could get any water. At 1050pm I hit the nurse button again and no one showed up until 1247am. With a Tylenol stating she didn’t get my meds yet. I am to have IV antibiotics and have not gotten any as of yet. The place is dirty and the staff is the most heartless I have encountered. My personal opinion is that I can’t see me getting better here but worse. 10/31/23 Pressed light for help at 8 am no one came light was still on at 10:50 when my husband came to go to the care meeting which I did advise the team. No one brought in breakfast they left it out side the door . Last time I had my antibiotic iv was at noon. Was told at 9pm that they did not have any. Missing 2 doses the 8pm and 4am dose. 11/01/23 Pressed button for help at 7:06 am to get unhooked from my IV to go to the bathroom 7:36 am couldn’t wait any longer and went to bathroom pushing IV while using my walker making it a dangerous move especially when I’m a fall risk. IV MED was not mixed so no benefit 7:44 am walked down to the nurse office and showed them that the IV med was not mixed she unhooked the iv and advised that the pic site needed to be changed 7:45pm Walked to the nurses station to let aid Ashley know that my roommate needed to use the bathroom she has been waiting since 7:30. She stated she would be there in a moment. She never came down. Over head her telling another aid to be careful going to room 223 telling her that she heard something about a nurse. This is the second time with her she left my roommate on the toilet for 2 hours and never came back and she had to get herself off the toilet. Ashley is rude when she speaks to me and when she is working it’s worse to get any help in my room."
