"They were polite and prompt with taking us back for our appt. They always address any questions we have."
"Don't expect this department to help children in need. A family has been reported to them numerous times by multiple people over the past several years for severe child neglect and child endangerment. They have completely ignored the case and have not gotten these children even the most basic food,health care,clothing,housing or education. Their excuse is they are understaffed and can't help everyone. That's a crummy excuse. These children are suffering and will be facing another long cold winter without any help from Taylor county CPS whatsoever! How many other cases like this are waving under their nose and they refuse to help? If they can't handle the needs of the community they need to turn this department over to new people who can. Taxpayers are paying to help children in need and it's simply not being done at all."

They honestly try to help with what they can in a very by the books manner, which for most is fine, but anything beyond that and you can expect to be very disappointed."
"Y'all case workers ain't nothing but crooked - Granted I gave a few issues I have to work out mental health wise but I've NEVER had this many issues with any other county. BE WARNED: If you end up in Taylor county or have to deal with Taylor county, tread lightly, they will ruin you and take you for everything you have. They think this is a game, your life is a game and they're the dealer."
