"I didn't think I would find myself in a position where I would recommend against Canterbury House, but I have for the past year or so. They advertise themselves as a place for everyone, which draws in a lot of different people. Unfortunately, they have no safeguards to protect more vulnerable people from discrimination or outright bullying. They only rely on the honor system when it comes to their students living up to their own expectations, and I can tell you from personal experience that that system has failed. If you have any disabilities or mental illness issues, visit this place at your own risk. Your concerns won't be treated with the seriousness they need to be, and you may find an ableist on their payroll."
