The pastor at this church has preached the best messages I’ve ever heard my old church was filled with messages that were repetitive and old and they didn’t really care about the well-being of people at the church, here at hbc they care about all the members of the church anyone that says otherwise is hateful and clearly can’t see straight because pastor Dave is the best pastor in this area and probably in the whole state of Michigan . Everyone here is welcome at this church and you should definitely come"

"Attended my first service at Houghton Baptist Church today. It was great! Pastor David did a awesome job on the sermon. He wasn’t standing up there speaking down to us but making himself one of us. The music was awesome!!! I absolutely loved it! I also enjoyed the kid zone they have for your kids, my son loved it and talked about it the whole way home. He can’t wait to go back next week! The free Biggby coffee is just an added bonus!"
