"Awesome little slice in Houghton next to MTU. First off. J J Wok n Grill is best it gets. Rangoons, soups, stir fry meals. All delicious. Rodeo Burritos. Very good, but I don’t consider them the best burrito in town. Very good though. A nice second choice of JJ is closed or backed up heavy. Dominos-Safe bet and nice that you do not have to venture farther into town to get it. Jim’s Food Mart- The top tier international food supply in the county. Also very robust beer, wine, liquor selection. If this place closed the effect could be measured on the local economy. Army recruit office- nice to have it somewhere. All and all great spot in a great place."

"Pearl Street Mall has Jim's Food Mart, the only source of Indian and some other oriental food items available in the upper peninsula. The closest ethnic south Indian shop is in Green Bay. Though the price is bit exorbitant, it is a good option for the international college students to find a taste of home. Besides all this, Jim's has an awesome collection of booze."
