"Fantastic! The parking lot has porta potties. A short wooden walkway and stairs leads to soft sand. The beach area close to the shore is completely covered in pebbles! Lots of people hunting for rocks night and day."
"One of the best rock picking beaches that I have been to. Had a great day strolling the beach for Lake Superior stones. Waves were rolling that day constantly washing new stones in. Miles to walk and explore. Great swimming, campground nearby, clean, and Lake Superior alone, makes it worth the visit. Hope to get back someday and locate that next agate that's just waiting for me to discover!!"
"Fantastic beach with fantastic rocks. Fairly easy to get to (dirt roads must be taken) but you will lose gps after getting to the beach so remember your way back to the "main" roads."
"Such an amazing place. Got lucky with a fantastic sunset. No agates, but lots of really cool regular rocks. A local advised me most of the agates had been picked over and haven’t been replenished due to a calm Gitchegumee. If you come here after a storm or some high winds, I imagine you’ll find an agate. If not, enjoy the beautiful views!"
