"Wonderful very helpfull staff. Glad to have access to it in this ongoing pandemic. Audio books, largeprint books and huge DVD selection. They also do inter-library loans from other libraries if they dont have the item.As always, wonderful staff and library.Excellent children's section too. Brilliant!"
"Good library, but I am kinda sad that they took the park down."
"I love the Alexandrian Library. An awesome facility. So many great programs. The staff is the friendliest most helpful group of people. They are awesome."
"Ever since the pandemic started, I have worn a full face shield. Since I have COPD & am obese, it is very difficult to breathe in a paper mask for any length of time. I have been a very good patron of the library for a very long time! The last time I was there, I was told that unless I wore a paper mask under my shield, I had to leave. I was told that my shield was useless. My shield has protected me since the beginning. I have not been sick or tested positive ever! I've been all over the place with my mom shopping or eating out. Not once have I had any problems! Am I over reacting? I hope not. I understand their views on the subject, but they are the only ones who have treated me this way."
"Love this library! Great resource for our community. Conference rooms are so handy for meetings or classes. Nice access for all ages and abilities. Children's area is a favorite for my grandchildren. The local historical section is very valuable for finding family lineage, property history, or grave sites. We use the copier/printer frequently since ours is always out of ink or somehow not functioning when we need it to. Computers are available and wifi is free. Wonderful collection of books and media in a pleasant, welcoming, environment. Thank you to the friendly and helpful staff. So grateful for the Alexandrian. Not to mention the park! Can't imagine Mt. Vernon without it."
