"I moved to the area from Tampa and set up a time to have my internet installed and paid money for that appointment. Without any notice (I had to call and ask where my tech was) they decided not to come. No follow up at all. They took my money and never contacted me again. As stated I had to call can ask where my tech was! Unbelievable. My wife works from home! We have an appointment! And no notice whatsoever about a change. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Terrible service."

"Been with them since 2018 and service is fine until you have an issue. My modem has been throwing critical error codes and I have had up to 5 thousand ping for 2 months and just keep getting told everything is fine when I can literally present error codes and show the high ping consistently and just keep getting told well we understand but it should be fine so we are going to call it fine. Idk how you can say it's fine when there is 2-10 error codes every 5 seconds and the ping is holding 5k when it was at 20 2 months ago. Total joke when it comes to fixing issues. Service and support were straight up 10 times better and cheaper when it was New wave. Sparklight should've stayed out of it and let New wave live"

"The local team seems to actually try, but coverage is terrible. If you work from home, don’t waste your money. In fact, if you plan on using their services for anything online, don’t waste your money. Over the past 6 months, we have been without service more than we have had it. What is worse than no service, is the inconsistency. Most days will start with decent speeds, and then the connection drops as soon as you try to use it. I have been a customer for 5 years, with very few complaints over the first 4 years, but something has change over the past year and service is almost nonexistent. Do not use them as an internet provider. You will not be satisfied."

"Horrible service. Paid $100 for 1GB that barely managed 300MB, then after a few Months they raised it to $130 with no changes to the internet speed at all. DO NOT USE SPARKLIGHT."

"Update!! I cancelled my spark light service and went to JOINK. My bill is only $99 and I have not had a single issue with my internet. I can take my computer all the way to my back yard and do my work with no issues. If you have Joink in your area, make the switch!!! Worst internet service on the planet! Cancelling and switching to Verizon home internet and I hope they put you all out of business! This company makes you pays $170 per month for just Wi-Fi that does not even work! In a 24 hour day we probably get 6 hours where the internet works the rest of the time I have to connect our devices to our mobile hotspots on our phones! Customer service is rude. Literally had a tech support person say “we gave you an old modem we don’t give new ones unless you ask for it but why pay for an old one when you can pay the same price for a new one?” They are literal crooks and cannot wait to get that final bill! My experience was so horrible with this company that I will forever discourage anyone from using their services you are better off paying your mobile carrier extra for a mobile hotspot and use that instead it will save you $140 I had a horrible experience with frontier also but at least their customer care was good and helpful. I will be sure to share my experience across all of my social media platforms as well because you are basically stealing people’s moneY."
