"The Portage Post Office sent me to the library to print a return label that a company had emailed me as a PDF to return an item, assuming I had a working printer. Well, I dont! Amy and Ryanna (4:30 pm on Tuesday) helped me through the confusing process on how to transfer it from my phone to their printer. With their patient help, we got the job done, and I got it back to the Post Office before closing. This was something I'd been trying to get done with the company since January! So it was a big deal to me! And, they again taught me that I can still learn something new every day!"

"I like this library. The staff is helpful and friendly. If you need to use a computer but don't have a Porter County Library card, they don't turn you away or make it hard for you. They give you a piece of paper with a temporary username and password on it so you can have access. This comes in handy if you don't want to use up all your ink at home and need to print out a number of pages. The patrons inside always seem to be nice and respectful to the library staff as well. The bathroom inside the library is nice and clean as well. And it's located right by the exit, in case you need to use it before leaving."
"This is an excellent library. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. For a medium size library, the selection is expansive and the staff will do their utmost to secure any publication that is not on their shelves. And, finally, the physical space is clean and well laid out."
"Nice, clean, large library. Many selections. Has book store for purchasing books, magazines, CD's, DVD's, VHS. Computers available. Printing fees are 10 cents for black and white copies & $1.00 for color copies."
