"Went to the Portage location for a post opp. Dr. Hearn can be quick and decent at what he does but can seriously lack any kind of empathy. Careful if you have any concerns after surgery. After having an abscessed tooth removed by him, a week later I was still experiencing pain and discomfort but further back from the extraction site. Not the extraction site itself. I was originally concerned the infection hadn't gone away or spread further back somehow. I don't know. I'm not a doctor. Been in pain for weeks, lack of sleep and had a low grade fever of 99.9. Except all he heard me say was 99 before cutting me off abruptly exclaiming, "That's not a fever." And huffed. Acted like I was totally and completely wasting his time. At that point I totally shut down and gave up crying filled with rage. What an inconvenience I am, huh? Everyone else at that office was nice. To anyone in Healthcare period.. no matter the specialty, it matters how you talk to and treat your patients. You never know when someone is at their breaking point. You don't know what's going on in their life. I'll tell you I've never had a doctor treat me with such judgmental dismissal."
