"I felt like my entire appointment was a waste of time. My doctor didn’t seem to really care for my needs. He also had somebody with him in the room who was very nice and kind of explain things to me a lot more. They gave me a referral to some other doctor that was not, covered by my insurance after saying that they were. Then it took them two days to call me back to give me a new one when I was supposed to be seeing this over a month ago. I just found no sense of urgency with my treatment. Very discouraging."
"I’ve had diverticulitis a lot in the last 3 years the staff was so nice ! The doctor acted like he didn’t care with what I had to say but I’ll go back and give it a second time could of been me idk !"
"This was my first visit to Dr. Kota's office His staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't have to wait long at all to see the doctor. He is thorough and nice."
"The clerical and medical staff were very friendly, informative, and professional. They took the time to explain exactly what I should expect as well as each step of my upcoming procedure. Very comforting."
"Diagnosis of diverticulosis over a year ago. Been wanting to see a GI doctor for some time, but due to a number of obstacles, it took a while to get an appointment. Was hoping for answers. Hoping for someone to listen to what I had been going thru and offer solutions. I assumed there would be an assessment, maybe a questionnaire asking various things about my personal situation. The nurses were great, super kind. Asked me a variety of general questions. Went carefully over my med list. The doctor entered with his intern. First question was when I last had a colonoscopy. I felt as though that was his goal was for me to schedule the procedure. He was with me maybe 5 minutes? No such questionnaire. Not the questions I expected. Perhaps I was expecting too much? He seemed hurried, very rushed. Very distant. Left me there with his intern Sam. I will say, Sam was great! He answered questions, dug for information, and offered a few more solutions. Was told to come back in six months. I'm not sure why? For another quick session with little solutions? I'll pass."
