"My house was no gem, but it took over 5 months to sell my house. I did get an initial offer from an investor, but thought that they offered too little. I finally got a decent offer after some concessions and was excited about selling the house. Home Connection did not tell me that I would have to pay to relocate the water meter ($3700) upon selling the house, until 4 days before closing!! How is there office in the same town my house was located and them not know this work would have to be done. The town said they spoke with Home Connection in 2014 to let them know of the ordinance. If I knew the relocation of the water meter was required, I would have taken the initial offer and not lost thousands of dollars on the home sale. If you want competent, knowledgeable realtors, look anywhere besides Home Connection Realty. In my opinion they were either negligent or deceptive and with either case, should have their licenses revoked."
