BMO Bank N.A Branches

"I encountered a problem with one of my accounts yesterday. I utilized the 800 number for all bank branches. The call center was off shore. It was difficult to comprehend & discuss the purpose of my call due to the language barrier of tge responding representative. Overwhelmed with frustration and no explanation as how my issue would be resolved or why the issue occurred; I phoned the Merrillville, IN branch @ 77th & Broadway. Spoke to an associate banker, Tia T. She was empathetic , extremely considerate and sought the assistance of Renee P. a retail relationship banker. I was informed I should come to their location so they could determine how the issue occurred and resolve my concerns. When I arrived at the branch, these two ladies teamed up and immediately began to work on the issue. Both ladies worked together to quickly research & resolve the issue involving my account. The customer service extended was genuine, apologetic, professional not to mention respectful. I left the bank branch with my issues resolved. My stress level was alleviated. I felt grateful that I chose to remain a customer through the acquisitions this banking institution encountered. I've banked at this banking institution well over 35 years & began banking when this bank was know as Mercantile Bank. Thank you Tia and Renee for your professionalism! Thank you Harris Bank Merrillville, IN for appropriately training your associates. Since you treat your employees well; they desire to treat customers well."

"Love this BMO bank been here since it was Mercantile National bank that's a long time. I have several accounts here. Love the staff. They know you by name, heck I barely remember faces. Really nice friendly service. One stop shop bank."

"Drove up to drive through and asked if I can do a wire transfer now. Ok. Inside I was told to wait for this one banker, mind you there are other three bankers too. After a couple of minutes I'm told the wait will be 30 minutes and nobody else can help. My time is valuable too and if you can't serve me promptly, a different bank will do. I've had enough with this branch, not the first incident that shows lack of good customer service. Closing accounts. Update: BMO, your cookie cutter response has no value and addresses nothing."

"Had the worst customer service there. Tried to apply for a debit card and right away she told me I didn't have good credit. Since when do u need good credit to open up a debit card? From the beginning, manager said who's next and I stand up w my kids cuz I was next and she tells me nevermind the other lady will take me smh I sit down and she looks at me and says ok I can take u.. I just needed a debit card to deposit my checks and she right away denied me . I left the room in 5 min from being there.. smh discrimination at its finest"
