"Stopped at Fire Station 4 at 10:00 pm as the National Weather Service tells anyone traveling by vehicle during a TORNADO WARNING to seek shelter at a fire station. The three firefighters on duty were rude and didn't allow us to come into their station. We explained to them that we were traveling home to Madison, WI with our 4 kids and they just stared at us and said they weren't sure if we could come in. The rudest, most unwelcoming and unhelpful fire fighters and station we have ever encountered. We ended up sitting in our vehicle outside the station until the worst of the storm passed. Thankfully we didn't get injured and made it home safely."
"I am 77 years old. I live at 521 Carolina Street. Today GOD sent Angels to carry me up the stairs to my apartment. I can only see out of one eye but the guys were gorgeous. Needless to say, I am very grateful and it was quite the adventure. Thanks a million to Firehouse #1. May GOD bless you all."
