"Would never suggest! Customer service is terrible. Can never get ahold of anyone. Had a car loan through them and the lady told me to have it paid off by a certain date & then it dinged my credit and brought it down 30 points!!! I have emails to prove the information and they ask for a letter to be mailed to them to fight it and they continue to send a letter back saying info is missing on the letter. Just want to give the run around. All calls are supposed to be monitored so they should be able to have all of the info. Julie Jergisan was telling me I had good credit and not to mess it up and telling me what to pay to avoid any issues but yet Jeff Tarr does not want to believe that his employees would discuss credit but it’s all on recorded calls. I paid what she would tell me to pay to avoid any issues. Also if I’m that late why wait until the loan is paid to report it 60 days past due!!"
"Happened last year but I finally got around to posting this. Worked with Courtney and she was HORRIBLE. She took forever to get back with my husband and I about our potential mortgage loan. I was constantly having to email her, and she would only respond in phone calls which I couldn't always take due to work and I told her this. I was also trying to get another job at the time for better financial and job security support, and I told her I was interviewing but nothing was official. Before we were set to close on the house we chose, we had already put in the earnest money, and then she emails me to tell us we're 3k short for closing. She told us the closing cost wouldn't change, but then for some reason it did and wouldn't explain it to us. I told her because of that reason, we would be unable to close on the house. I get a text from my realtor two days later saying our earnest money went to the sellers of the house because Courtney had put on the reasoning for the sale not going through was "Different employment and we didn't ask for an extension on the closing time". Courtney never once mentioned getting an extension, and I told her we could not afford closing and that I was simply just interviewing. My husband and I lost $500 because of her, and we would have had to get a lawyer to recover, which would have cost much more than the money we lost. We've since gone to a different bank, but she is infuriating to work with."
"Great interest rate on our car loan, customer service and diligence is extremely lacking. It took 19 total calls to correctly set up our autopay because they usually dont answer the phone and you have to leave a message. Once we finally gave the payment info 3 times it was set up, but they mistyped our account number so it declined for our first 3 monthly payments and we had to call to pay. I work in finances and the FIRST thing I check when a bank payment declines is that the account numbers entered were correct. The employee we spoke to yesterday actually told us the error code said invalid account number. Clearly they didn't bother to investigate the first two times and decided to charge us the two late fees instead. It should not be up to the customer to find out why their payments aren't running correctly and they certainly shouldn't be charged for your error. I work the same hours as the bank so it's very difficult to call multiple times during my busy work week. Unacceptable really."
"Sharing for my son, I think that it is ridiculous that a young adult is just starting out and has great credit and gets approved for a loan through this bank and receives his payment book and we set up his account online to pay his bill each month and you charge $6 to process an online payment either with a debit card or a checking account information. That is insane, so here a 25 year old young man who works his butt off and bought a $20,000 truck on his own and will pay his payment every month and y'all charge that much. That is another $390 adding onto his loan that he already has when I know for a fact that there really is not much for a person to actually do to process an online payment at any business. I work for a financial institute and the most we charge for a credit card payment is $2.95 and for checking account # we don't charge anything to process a payment either if the person calls or does it on their account online. This place is ripping people off and when they say a convenience fee that is a crock because that is not convenient for anyone but the big wigs that run the company...."
"One hour wait in commercial drive thru because lobby is closed at 4! ONE HOUR WAIT, because my time has no value. Line all the way to Ohio street."
