"Very good preaching/teaching, focusing and reminding us on the basics of a fulfilling walk with God and our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Love that Pastor Dex is a humble person and teacher. While a great speaker, I love that he's not put on a pedestal. I love how he's not the only one sharing God's Word and lessons every week. It's wonderful hearing from different people's lessons from their actual lives and struggles interpreted through Scripture. The congregation is multi cultural and multi ethnic which is fantastic. Everyone has been really nice. Many members have shown their willingness to engage in the tough conversations and realizations of walking with God in America in such a time as this. I love this church's focus and commitment to social justice and empowering the city and people of Gary and surrounding areas.
