"It was a nice place. I liked the comfy while uniform. Officer Slachta was a good intake officer. She was strict and makes you behave. It was an educational and eye opening experience."
"Calling the Juvenile Clerks Office is absolutely horrible. Just asking important information so you do not file or get anything wrong is a hassle among the attitude and unprofessionalism involved in getting it. I spoke with an older African American women (who wouldn't give me her name) with nice curled shorter hair. To make sure I had times and information correct, I asked the proper questions and was responded to rudely and then asked "ARE YOU DONE?!" with an uncomfortable attitude, followed by being hung up on while telling her thank you and hoping she has a better day. Unprofessional, rude and very inappropriate. The day before this I went in person to gather paperwork for someone who was unable to get it due to work with my son's grandmother. My son's grandmother asked important questions to get the correct information on how to file certain documents and she received the same treatment. If calling I suggest you ask for someone nicer or to speak with her supervisor because she does not know how to work with people."
"I've had a guardianship going for the past 2 years and the ladies in the juvenile court clerk's office have always been super helpful to me with navigating the system and the paperwork. Very grateful."
"Amy Talion is absolutely a disgrace to children every where, if anything ever happens to my son while with his father I will hold her personally responsible. Her ignorance is unbelievable and she is a perfect example of a power trip"
"Had a cousin who sadly was locked up here in 2002. He spoke of a preverted intake guard who would stare at young boys during the de-licing process. Later after contracting shingles there at the facility he was eventually placed on lock down for remainder of his stay. During this time he wasn't allowed out of his cell for any reason. It wasn't until he got to court and informed the judge about this that he was eventually allowed 1 shower. Administration questioned him in his cell about why and what he told the judge. To say the least they were very upset. He did recover and leave the following year."
