"I visited the treasurer, and had a good experience. They're usually friendly. I had to go through the metal detector, as expected. Another customer, (older, white guy) pointed that he was going towards the assessor's office. The deputy with the jet black monopoly man mustache waived him to the right of the metal detector. That's dangerous. You can't look at a person and judge if they have a weapon on them or might pose a danger to someone in the building. Make us all go through for the sake of everyone's safety. Afternoon of 4/25/24."

"Every single time I finally arrange to go to the treasurer's office, there is a reason they cannot process anything. It's happened three times this year, including yesterday. Whether it's due to weather, building issues or the computers being down, it shouldn't happen as often as it does. (Usually, it's the computers) Come on Lake County, do better!"

"Excellent Staff overall rating. That said, Retired Military Pact Act 100% Gulf War Disabled Veteran, Lake County Resident. Visited today to apply for Tax Waiver. They can Keep the waiver. Very unhappy with the visit."

"May daughter was unfortunate to have left my keys n the bin where you come into door S2. When we went back to retrieve them no one was of any help. We back tracked to all the offices where we were n to no avail the keys were not found and was even told by a sheriff if you lost something in here you will never get it back. We looked for a while but eventually having to have my card towed to the dealership n replace my keys to my card and home totaling $800+. So for me each interaction I have had at this courthouse has been terrible and the staff is rude from beginning to end. With an exception of a couple of people that tried to assist me as much as they could."

"Immediate service with no waiting. The construction of the new ADA ramp is closer, however, it caused an elderly man to go up the stairs sideways with his cane. Another kind lady carried his walker up for him. Bless her!"
