"Shameful. I've been trying to collect child support for 15 years (-$33,000) only paying $45 weekly and the 5 for back pay. Not only is the person in the system but on papers. They refuse to show up to court, and all the court can say is, when you find something out, let us know, and we will do what we can. Let's try prosecuting some of the people while they roam free, making children that ultimately working people have to take care of. Shouldn't comptemt of court, required employment, community service, 180 days or something, be in place for some kind of accountability, especially if you're already in the system. What are you learning? I guess how to beat the system better and let the government take care of your responsibilities. No wonder so many aren't taking care of their children. They no longer have to, and nothings going to happen except stress and hardship on the one who keeps the child. Let's bring back accountability and responsibility for both parents! *And the ratings went up within 24 hours of my review (complaint)!!! Someone go get the mayor❤️. We need him over here, too!"
"I would leave a zero stats but someone in division 6 really needs to hear me out and actually listen this time. The judge chewed me out today for "non compliance", when I went to show him my paperwork where I have been in compliance he wouldn't listen or even look at the paperwork showing I wasn't lying. I was supposed to be out of this program five months ago but had issues with my case manager from Hamilton Center lying about how I was doing. My therapist from my home town has been trying to reach Hamilton Center in Terre Haute for two months with no response. I was also told that I needed to update my info with my public defender which I have many many times. It is not my fault they choose not to do the job they are paid to do by the county. Honestly I can't continue to drive from several hours away anymore. My husband has had heart surgery and so income has been short. This is on top of having a baby less than two months ago and I myself facing surgery. Everything we have financially has to go to bills, house payment, home repairs and the needs of our newborn. With the price of gas, needing two tires on a van that also lacks air conditioning having to sleep in our van on these business trips we just can't keep going like this. We can not afford it. So if the human being on the bench would please just take two seconds and see that I am doing so much better than when I started this program and I am still very much in compliance and probably more so than ever and graduate me from the program please."
"Less than impressed with Vigo County Superior Court 4. After numerous court rescheduled dates, I attended a hearing on behalf of a child. I’ve never heard so much yelling and witnessed so much unprofessional behavior in a courtroom in my life (and I was part of the courts in Marion County for 15 years). The court permitted name calling, the judge even yelling from time to time, the court obviously didn’t have access to past records, it was really the most unprofessional kangaroo courtroom I’ve ever seen."
