"Losing my dad is probably the worst thing that has ever happened in my life and the kind and compassionate people at Hillside made the funeral planning process as smooth and easy as it could possibly be. Sherry & everyone else treated me and my family with the utmost care and understanding. My Dad was not a traditional guy and we wanted to have some quirky things at his service, like what he we wore, the music we played, what we adorned the casket with etc and they encouraged us to do exactly what was right for him and our family. I was self conscious about these things and I was made to feel comfortable and confident in these non-traditional choices. Also, as I went into the process I was so afraid my Father’s life insurance wouldn’t be nearly enough to cover costs and their pricing was more than fair. They really mean it when they advertise they’re taking the price gouging out of funerals. I couldn’t be more grateful for their part in this extremely emotionally difficult process and would recommend them to anyone."
