"I am so upset with this private bridge owner. I paid my invoice, and had no idea I traveled on a roadway/bridge that cost a toll, or when I made my stop off 90 to find a gas station this would occur. The time of the picture that took was not accurate, and I had moved before I got the chance to change my license plate from mi registration. I paid it when it was forwarded and even paid my bank for a page of three checks which I don’t use normally. They have no record of it. Send me another invoice with Kate and administration fees. Now bc the address whole changed after the picture was taken was updated they still kept using my old address and then I told them I sent a check no record and another late fee bc I stated I was not paying late or administrative fees when I indeed sent them a check. This is absolutely the worst way to collect funds for crossing their bridge and highly suspect to me they way they collect and add on additional fees, without notice to a driver re the cost to cross. So I turned over all the information to my law school alumni I from my law school ,who practices class actions and is licensed in Indiana and Illinois…they of course jumped on this as clearly it is unfair business practices and consumer protection laws cover this type of thing. Good luck to the owners of the clubs bridge. Yes, sorry that was sarcastic."
"I have pay by plate set up to auto pay tolls but for this one I got a letter like two months later saying I owed $60 with late fees because of one toll. This should be illegal, do not take this route."
"Scammers. I have my I-Pass/Pay by plate setup but they claim there may have been an error and it didn’t work. I was already charged through I-pass but still received a notice in the mail from Cline Ave Bridge almost 2 months AFTER I went through the toll. Somehow magically the other tolls I went through on that same day/route were charged to my account months ago. Was told by a rep on the phone that I would need to submit documents to dispute it online but there’s no where to do anything EXCEPT pay and according to the reviews, the dispute process sounds like a pain."
"Sending toll fees through the mail is ridiculous and even more ridiculous to have your registration put on hold because you didn’t get the notice to pay it. If anyone else cannot get hold of them, When you call the phone number, just start hitting the pound sign and I finally got a person"
"Worst toll road I've ever taken. We have a eazy pass and never received a letter saying we owed anything until we got a letter saying that we wouldn't be able to renew r registration. So I called and they said we owed 104$ for 6 tolls and couldn't do anything about the fees and there would be other fees if we paid in a payment plan. Now I see why nobody takes this toll. I'll never take it again"
