"For me the decision to get started in an exercise program to both lose weight and get fit, especially after the age of 60, required that I find one which provided guidance, motivation, expertise, be easy to adopt and produced results quickly. "I started with THE EXERCISE COACH in November, 2020. I was very hesitant about joining because I always quit everything. I was upfront with Dave (Dyer owner) when I had my initial consultation. He assured me THE EXERCISE COACH would be different. I signed up for one month with the mindset that I would “try it”. Here I am, January 2023 and I’m still a member. I have to admit that I have not been the most ideal member because I often miss, reschedule, or cancel. My 2023 goal is NOT to miss unless I am on vacation or so I’ll I cannot possibly workout. I am T2D, have balance issues, and suffer from essential tremors in my hands. I can honestly say my balance has improved a great deal and my A1C was recently so impressive (5.3) that I. Was taken off my metformin. I still have an injection once per week of insulin. My Dr will reevaluate me in 6 months and I’m praying I’ll be off that as well. My starting weight at THE EXERCISE COACH in November, 2020 was approximately 236. At weigh in this past Saturday I was 200 (I was 197 before Christmas- darn holidays). I signed up for the new challenge and plan to win. I did win one of he other challenges. This is the best money I have ever spent on myself. The trainers are professional, kind, patient and understanding. The encouragement I have been given gives me the confidence that I need to continue with this program. I plan to put 100% effort into me during 2023. I have no doubt that I will reach my goal of 140-150 by the end of 2023. Dave, Jill, Justin, Lindsey, and Mike are the absolute best. Thank you for the patience and guidance since I started. Please continue to push me to the fullest."
