"a beautiful little gem that i pass by weekly. its a tiny bit hard to find, i had to make a u-turn to come back to it after i accidentally drove by. absolutely worth it though! beautiful native plants untouched for over a century. healthy populations of threatened species like royal catchfly and french-grass. there are no maintained trails but someone mustve been before me, as there was a bit of a "trail" made by stepping on some plants. the red-winged blackbirds were getting a bit irritated with my presence, but none were out to get me. i love this little preserve ♥️"
"Pass by this place almost everyday. It is located on Indiana Highway 63 at mile marker 72 on west side of the road their is a side road and the cemetery is right next too it. Just south of Interstate 74. Wish their was more information on this place it intrigues me."
"Drove 25 minutes from my cabin to see the "cemetery nature preserve" ended up down someone's driveway while looking for it. It wasn't until we were on the way out that we noticed a tombstone peaking through the top of the brush. It was completely overgrown. Looks like it has not been touched by a groundskeep in years. Also, it's surrounded by fields, no nature preserve. The state or whoever needs to get down there and do some cleanup. Disrespectful to the dead."
