About the Business
Welcome to St. George Hellenic Greek Church, a cherished place of worship located in the heart of Schererville, Indiana. Situated at 528 West 77th Avenue, our church has been a cornerstone of faith and community for 90 years, serving Orthodox Christians throughout northwest Indiana. Originally established in East Chicago, we have proudly continued our mission and spiritual journey in Schererville.
Join us every Sunday for our sacred services, beginning with Orthros at 8:15 a.m., followed by the Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. Whether you are a lifelong member or a first-time visitor, you will find a welcoming and spiritually enriching environment at St. George.
Our church office is open to serve you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and we are closed on Thursdays. We invite you to become a part of our enduring legacy of faith, community, and tradition.
