The Blessed Sacrament Chapel is a testament to the enduring spirit and devotion of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, a community of vowed Catholic women religious. Inspired by their foundress, Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, the Sisters are dedicated to lives of prayer, education, service, and advocacy.

The chapel, designed in the Italian Renaissance style by D.A. Bohlen and Son, was consecrated in 1924 and is renowned for its exquisite architecture and rich history. Originally a chapel of perpetual adoration, it now serves as a chapel of reservation, with the Blessed Sacrament secured in the tabernacle, inviting all to engage in private prayer and reflection from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
