"If you want to be outdoors in Knox county your options are limited. This place has the most potential of any of our campground places. Quite a few cabins. In my opinion here's what could make this place better. 1) looks like there was a beach at one time, bring back the beach and make The lake swimmable. Very limited places to swim in Knox county. 2) add some trails with some signs 3) add some electric campsites 4) put in a nice children's playground set. 5) Make the experience easier, better website for booking etc. More information on it pricing And better advertising."
"Great Frisbee golf course! Only 5 bucks to play as many times as you want!"
"Honestly guys, I grew up right across the road from it, I learned how to fish there, I learned how to swim there, some of my best memories are from playing there. The only thing I'm disappointed about how it is now , is that the lake is overgrown and mossy it's gross. There's no more beach or sand. It broke my heart to see the very spot I learned to swim in completely covered is seaweed stuff. Other than that, the buildings are great the people are friendly and id recommend renting the mess hall for any occasion."
"Good bass, crappie and bluegill fishing and they have boats to rent I believe your supposed to put the money in a box at the entrance.... I did no one answers the phone or the emails"
"First time camper at this beautiful site. Would highly recommend getting a group of people together for a weekend of fishing, paintball, hanging out by the campfire and just enjoying the quiet, peaceful scenery. Very nice dining hall, bath house, and cabins of different kinds. Must see!!"
