"Dr. D is an excellent doctor (5 stars for him), very caring and compassionate. However, most staff are rude and unfriendly. Their manager is very arrogant, does not want to hear patient complaint and is not even honest. I stopped going to this clinic due to violation of HIPPA privacy rule. During my last visit a medical assistant poked her head in the door and called what seemed to be my name. Before I could get up a gentleman close to the door stood up and went inside with her. So I assumed it was his name and his turn. After a total wait of close to an hour, my name was called. When I was in the room for a field vision test, the medical assistant (I will call her #1) asked my name and date of birth and then with a puzzled look left the room. After 6 minutes a different lady (#2) came and said sorry there was some confusion, when we called your name someone else came in. I asked if they verified his name and DOB, she said yes and he did verify, but he was not even scheduled for this test. So according to #2, #1 came to me and said something was not right, so #2 went in there to check since she knew who Mr. Ahmed looked like and found out it was a different person. Any way I accepted their apology as it was an exceptionally long wait for me and finished my appointment. I am not sure what other personal information was discussed with the other patient as they initially assumed it was me. I am sure this must all be documented in my chart as they are required to do so by law."

They are connected with Helix eye surgery center. Convenient location. They treat everyone like family! They also take Medicare! A step above the rest"
